I want the Current Ford Mondeo Wagon to get the ST treatment and be brought to the states.

People do buy them. I think that's why Ford revived the ST Estate for the Mark III Focus, and then updated it for the facelift. The Mondeo's segment isn't what it once was, but I'm still hopeful that we'll see another Mondeo ST - and, in turn, ST estate - at some point, too.

I do miss the days of the supermini estate, though—I've always had a bit of a soft-spot for the old Polo wagon, and a Fiesta ST estate would be fun.

But they do lots of them. If people bought enough they'd do even more.

That they do; as we don't really see supermini estates any more - much as I'd like them to make a return - the only other car in their lineup that they could make an eSTate out of at this point is the Mondeo, and I'm hoping they do exactly that. It's a shame they never ST'd the last one.

I was referring more specifically to the US market. I apologize as I assumed you were one of those people crying out that every car around the world should be sold here despite many of the ones we don't get being terrible for our demographics and consumer base. I don't think a Focus wagon would do well here, let alone an ST wagon. Although next generation.......if the golf wagon continues to d well and Ford needs to bump up MPG numbers, a Focus wagon could be compelling when compared to the Ford Edge crossover.

I would sell both my cars and buy two of these if I could.

Just gimme a Fusion with AWD and the 2.3 four-pot. That's all I ask. Nothing more.

And give it the Six-speed non-DCT auto...

I would have gotten a FoST wagon if I had the option, as it stands I went with the FiST because the size difference between the hatches aren't that much.

My issue would be that a FoST wagon could be well into the 30s in price.

But A wagon makes sense to keep forever, I will eventually need more space than the fiesta provides and a wagon would be perfect. RS wagon would be absolutely awesome.
